1. What exactly is a vehicle wrap?

A vehicle wrap is basically a digitally printed, self-adhesive vinyl material that covers or "wraps" your vehicle. A wrap is one of the most cost effective ways for you to advertise your company or business and according to an Arbitron, Inc. study, a wrapped vehicle can generate between 30,000 and 70,000 impressions per day.

Vehicle wraps are like a giant moving billboard where you can literally take your business out to the customer.  According to the study, more than 95% of all Americans travel by car each week, that’s an incredible advertising opportunity you can’t afford to miss.

2. Will the wrap vinyl damage my vehicle's paint?

Mad Wrapper vehicle wraps are long lasting, washable, removable and they won’t damage your vehicles factory paint. In fact, the paint is actually protected from minor abrasions and UV exposure.

All of our vehicle wraps are printed using the highest quality vinyl and inks. We use only Eco Friendly Inks that don’t give off toxic VOC’s and won’t harm the environment.

3. Do you help design the vehicle wrap?

Yes. The Mad Wrapper design team can create
the whole package for you. Our trained design and wrap experts will consult with you to make sure that your vehicle wrap is effective and stands out from the crowd.

Bottom line: we’ll make sure your advertising message is clear and easily readable.

4. Will you wrap a leased vehicle?

Yes, like any other vehicle, the wrap can easily be removed without any damage, at the end of the lease.

Best of all, The Mad Wrapper can actually help you get a brand new vehicle leased with the wrap included in the lease agreement.  Call now for more information on The Mad Wrapper Leasing Program.

5. What’s the difference between a Full Wrap and a Partial Wrap?

Typically, a full wrap includes the entire surface of the vehicle with or without the roof, depending on the vehicle. The only areas that are not wrapped are areas that do not have factory paint.

A full wrap creates the greatest impact for your business but, we can work with any budget to create effective, high impact graphics that get your message across whether it’s a full or partial wrap.

6. How long do vehicle wraps last?

A wrap can last on average 3 to 5 years depending on type of wrap and materials used.  All of our vinyl materials are of the highest quality, made by top brand manufacturers and will look great for years to come.  We even guarantee our wraps for a full three years. (see Warranty information for details.)

Whether your company changes messages frequently or only once every few years, a vehicle wrap is one of the most cost effective advertising methods available.

7. How do I take care of my vehicle wrap?

We recommend that you hand wash your wrapped vehicle for best results. High pressure washers and harsh chemicals should be avoided. A Wrapped Car or Truck actually washes very easily. You’ll find it is actually easier to wash and maintain a vehicle wrap than a vehicle with standard factory paint.  Bugs, dirt, road grime come right off.

Many customers have occasionally used automated car washes and have reported no problems, but this practice should be used only occasionally.

8. When I sell the vehicle, can the graphics be removed?

Absolutely.  Today’s vinyl graphics are manufactured with an adhesive that is easily removable when you’re ready to sell your vehicle or if you just want to update your advertising message.

When you get your vehicle wrapped by the team at The Mad Wrapper, it always includes complementary graphics removal when you are ready to change messages or sell your vehicle.

9. Can graphics be put on the windows?

Yes, the graphics can be continued right onto the windows. We will wrap your vehicle’s windows with see-through graphics or window perf as it’s called. Note: it is legal in most states to wrap back, side windows and the rear windows; but not the driver and front passenger windows or the front window.

The vinyl we use is perforated with tiny holes that allow you to see through the adhesive side. From the inside of the vehicle, visibility is similar to regular window tint. Our window perf is laminated with an optically clear film that keeps dirt and water from getting in the perforation.

10. How much will my vehicle wrap cost?

Many things factor into the cost of your vehicle wrap. For instance the size of your vehicle, complexity of vehicle, installation time and design time are all taken into consideration when price is quoted. Vehicles with compound curves and vehicles with lots of surface obstacles are more expensive to wrap than a straight sided vehicle.

For example: a Volkswagon Beetle or Hummer is more difficult and takes longer to wrap than a boxy Ford Econoline van.

The Mad Wrapper offers many packages to choose from, ranging all the way from a full coverage wrap, to a tailgate wrap with door and hood graphics. We work within your advertising budget. You can even lease your wrap for as little as $99.00 a month.

Small vehicles or those with few curved surfaces usually cost around $1,995 to $2,995 for a fully wrapped vehicle.

Full car wraps for standard size vehicles and trucks are usually in the $3,000-$3,995 range.

Larger vans, specialty vehicles, some busses, RV’s and trucks are in the neighborhood of $4,000-$4,695 and up.

Partial wraps range anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500 depending on the vehicle.

The Mad Wrapper can also wrap your fleet vehicles. Call for special pricing on our multiple vehicle program.

11. Why is a vehicle wrap good for my business?

For a relatively small initial investment, you will reach thousands of potential clients every single day for years. Your Mad Wrapper vehicle wrap will get your message out 24 hours a day, even when the vehicle is parked.

Restrictive sign ordinances can seriously jeopardize your business if you are in a hard to spot or remote location, but a wrapped vehicle can be parked near the road for high impact visibility that pays for itself quickly.

Heavy traffic can actually turn into an opportunity to market your company up close, to thousands of people

12. Just how cost effective does a vehicle wrap end up being?

Let's assume your $3,000 wrap reaches an average of 30,000 people per day. Over the course of its 5 year life, you have spent the equivalent of $1.65 a day to create over 9 million impressions each year!

Marketing experts will tell you this is a very cost-effective way to reach the masses. It would be difficult to find a more effective means of reaching more potential clients for less money.

13. Why should I choose The Mad Wrapper to do my wrap?
