The Mad Wrapper created a machine that draws a person’s name on an Etch-A Sketch.  A key is attached to a gift.  Insert the key and the machine automatically draws  a person’s name to indicate who should open the gift. And it even draws pictures!

The original plan was to have the machine to draw each person’s face on an Etch-A-Sketch. Yes, it can draw realistic black and white faces and any other image.  But it takes a long time to draw.  Something like three hours to draw a portrait.  So, plan “B”, TMW had the machine draw names, not faces.  But some of the gifts contained special keys that told the machine to draw a cool picture. Our three-year-old granddaughter very much enjoyed her picture of Moana!
